Does anyone have a link to a longer usb-c to usb-c cable that is known to work with this? The shorty that comes with is great for stacking... however would love to have a longer one. I've tried a few already and none have worked.

I've tried a few basic usb c to usb c and none have worked which leads me to believe there is a crossover in the wiring to make it work. Still have not received any info leading to the correct cable... ugh.

copy/paste from my reply above on the other comment regarding this: I've been trying to figure this out myself. It doesn't appear that the cable is necessarily "proprietary" per se. I noticed that when the cable alone is connected to my phone (without the dac), my phone sees it as its own device (gives me USB options in the notifications). There must be something special going on for the direct C-to-C mode to work correctly. I'm guessing the phone is being tricked into thinking USB headphones are plugged in. Other cables still "work" but you need to use an actual OTG ("OTG in the technical sense here, utilizing the OTG protocol/pin layout, since the term "OTG" has been wildly misused since the introduction of USB C) adapter phone-side in order to do so. The downside of this is that the phone is now acting as a full USB host device, and suffering the power draw that goes with that.
