Having a strange time. Out of the box it was fine, plugged into an Anker USB charger on the USB-C port and then to my PC using USB as well. Sound quality seems fine, has plenty of oomph to drive my MASSDROP X HIFIMAN HE4XX (which I got in a bounty box!) and the tone is nice with the Fostex TR-X00, and my Sony MDR-Z7Mk2. So initially very pleased. My thought was to use this mostly as a desktop DAC/Amp that was left plugged in via the 2 USB ports for sound and charge most of the time, but then could be used on the go if I needed some portable sounds with cans my LGV30 couldn't drive. All was well for a few days, then recently it seems to be losing its connection to the PC audio - shows the "no signal" message. Re-plugging the USB cable didn't seem to help. Turning the unit off and on doesn't seem to help. There isn't a reset button. It seems like there may be something wrong with the charging or battery - when I turn the unit off and unplug from the "power" USB port it doesn't turn on, as though the battery is fully discharged. Unplugging all cables, then re-seating the charge cable seems to start it charging again, then after a while - perhaps 30 mins there is enough charge for the signal to be picked up from the PC. Perhaps the charging cable is faulty, though the red light is always on. Perhaps there is a port issue on my unit? Perhaps a battery issue? Perhaps the battery used can be overcharged and that's causing problems? The device doesn't come with much of a manual in English, so I'm a little unsure what to do next. I guess I could try different cables, if anyone has any recommendations for USB-C cables for charging and PC use that would be helpful. Or maybe it's a port or battery problem in which case I should just return it. Thoughts welcome.

peritooAs I stated in my big post below, I didn't get mine from this drop, but rather a few days earlier from Shenzhenaudio for basically the same price. I have not yet experienced the issue you're seeing, despite moderate to heavy usage with both my PC and phone both indoors and outdoors (pretty cold where I am now). How are you charging the unit? I don't believe charging off a PC's USB port is fast enough to actually gain charge on the battery while it is in use. A power brick is recommended if that's the case. Also keeping it constantly charging is probably not good for the battery. I'd recommend you plug it in as needed and try to keep it between 20% and 80% for extended use.

afk.or.feedI think you are correct that it won't charge sufficiently off a PC port, I did see that when I first plugged it in, but I switched to using an Anker high capacity charge brick (mains feed, not battery) for charging. I'm now making sure I turn everything off and unplug the charge cable while the device has a charge, and only plug in the charger when battery is low (it would be nice if there were a better battery indicator). So far that seems to be working better, but I think that for the desktop it is probably better to get a proper desktop amp instead, so it can just be left plugged in all the time, and use this as a portable device.

peritooIf you know your electronics, it probably wouldn't be too difficult to grab another connector that plugs into the battery port off of ebay or something and rig together a power adapter that powers the unit directly...
