I had imense trouble getting my amp unit to charge and it turns out that it will literally only charge from the included USBC cable. I've tried every combination of computer port, power adapter, charging hub, and battery bank; it just won't charge even with cables that work fine for data transfer, even with power delivery and thunderbolt 3 cables, even with OTG cables. I don't know what hellish blocker Xduoo put in their cable but it's incredibly frustrating that I am stuck having use their ugly, kinked, rubber, 2ft long USB A-to-C charging cable. The whole point of using USBC is that it is universal, don't make it such an impossible cluster to find a cable that works (the same goes for their rip-off $20, non-MiFi certified, USBC-to-Lightning cable only available from their site).

rudbearDepending on the power adapter, it might not be sufficient to charge the device. My phone adapter does not charge the unit nor the bluetooth adapter. However changing the output power of the adapter helps. If you're using USB-C to C, it tends to not work either. Try using any A to C cable. That usually works for me.

rudbearThat sounds really frustrating, but I'd guess it is an issue with your unit. I'm using a magnetic USB-c cable plugged in to a power strip that has USB charging ports and it charges just fine.

rudbearI’ve had similar issues, and not just for the charging input. All of the inputs across the board seem finicky and will only play nice with certain cables. It’s definitely a thing too judging by other comments on this and other sites.
