@AveryC @XMIT @Anyone_who_will_listen?
Received my keyboard and it is defective:
1.) First attempt after plugging it in, it powered up fully, but computer wouldn't recognize it all; 2.) Updated my Mac Pro to high sierra OS, now the computer recognizes it, but it only works for 2-3 minutes then it becomes unresponsive.
Since Massdrop customer support is useless, as usual, they've directed me here for "Support". Why would it intermittently work then stop abruptly?

Try running it through a powered USB hub, if you have one. That's what I had to do

Hi @don_con - I'm sorry to hear about this issue with your board. I suspect this is a USB power issue. Does altering, dimming, or disabling the backlight change your symptom at all? Fn+Ins, Fn+Del, Fn+Up Arrow and Fn+Down Arrow offer some backlighting controls on the 87, 108, and 120 key boards.
I'm sorry to say that formal Massdrop support is staffed friendly customer support representatives who are, sadly, not typically keyboard designers or engineers. I'm happy to help, though.
