@redblade93 thoughts? Also, do you have a steam account or something we could chat a little more effectively on? Then we could possibly meet up on games and stuff like that if you're interested
Very sad. Bought 2 16GB 2400 Corsair sticks from Amazon recently for $199. This is STILL expensive since 2 years ago I bought 2 similar sticks for $149. I await the day ram prices drop back to their old price.
I know nothing about computers and am trying to build my first one. That being said I only play one game (league of legends) and some stuff for work. I am also on a budget. But would this work for my application
ALM1It would work yes, but it's overkill, especially for League. If you are building a ryzen pc, the extra speeds may be worth it, otherwise save your money and stick with 2400mhz RAM.
ALM1If you don't know much about computers I would look up the model# of your system. If it's a laptop it probably uses so-dimm modules and these won't work . Depending on the age of your system it will more than likely use DDR4 or DDR3. It's better to use a matched pair of modules that you purchase in a kit to run in dual channel mode.
Like I already said you have no idea what you're talking about and trying to rely on an old out of date LTT video is truly pathetic. Have you never heard of Ryzen? Things have changed since 2013.
