3D-Printed Keycaps

Transform your keyboard with these MEGATRQN keycaps. 3D-printed by XX7, and voted on by 600 members of the Mech Keys Community, they’re made of nylon plastic and finished by hand. Each key-size bust is highly textured, not only with the curves and contours of the robot’s face but also with the sandpapery grain of the plastic itself.

Note: At checkout, you’ll have your choice of Cherry- or Topre-compatible stems. You’ll also have your choice of color: Cotton Candy, Glacier, or Psychedelic.

What’s in a Name?

The winning keycap, which garnered nearly 50% of the votes, is titled Glacier. Featuring a blue-and-white color scheme, it was inspired by the crystalline waters of the arctic and the ice that rests above it. Says XX7 of the winning design: “This robot has gotten a bit cold.” The runner up to Glacier was Psychedelic, which was inspired by the art and style of the 1960s. In third place was Cotton Candy. Drawing inspiration from carnival fare, XX7 produced these keycaps with mouthwatering swirls of purple and blue.
