Throughout the drop process we have been working diligently with our vendor in order to make sure that everything is on track for fulfillment of the XX7 MEGATRQN Artisan Keycaps. However, due to multiple unforeseen issues with our vendor’s 3D printer, they are currently unable to produce the keycaps in a timely manner as well as give any definitive date for the expected start of production.
Due to the continued delays and lack of a concrete date from our vendor, we are sorry to inform you that we have made the difficult decision to cancel the drop. All orders will be canceled and refunds applied to your payment method.
Before every drop goes live, per our standard checklist of precautions, we always ensure that our vendor has the adequate resources, capacity, and materials to produce the order for the group. However, due to multiple unexpected snags from our vendor’s 3D printer we are unable to complete this drop.

PeterKMan, what a bummer. I would have loved to rep this keycap and it sucks things didn't work out. The regular updates were appreciated Peter. And, in light of what's happened in other group buys on other sites, it's reassuring to have a proper refund protocol to protect those who participated in the drop.
XX7, sorry things went south for you. Hope your vending days aren't over. You have a cool aesthetic and neat ideas. here's hoping the production side catches up. Cheers.

I don't really pay much attention to these comments sections, sorry. Production has run into more than a few snags with off colours, then a broken machine which worked for a day after being repaired, that broke again. But we SHOULD be up and running any day. I'm waiting in a queue of a few orders, and have no way to know how far along this order is in that queue. I deeply apologize for the wait and any inconveniences these delays have caused.
Just know that I am dedicated to getting these keycaps made and delivered to you, and will be trying daily to get updates on this order.

We've been in touch with the vendor and they've let us know that they are still working on the production start date. We will continue to work closely with our vendor throughout the production process in efforts to get the group's order shipped out as soon as possible.

PeterKIs there any chance we could get a direct statement from XX7 on this drop? I know things and happen and delays sometimes occur but a clear statement from the manufacturer would be nice to see.
I know XX7 will getting out the keycap game after this production and I wish him all the best. I'm just anxious to try out the fruits of his hard labor.
Our vendor has informed us that the repair of the 3D printer is underway. Once the repair is complete the vendor will let us know when they will be able to start production and be able to ship out to our New Jersey Warehouse. We will continue to check in with them and update the group again as soon as everything confirmed.

Our vendor just reached out to update us on the status of our order and has informed us that the repair is expected to be done by next week. I'm fine with waiting still, because I really want this cap, but it seems a little ridiculous that the vendor can't even seem to get their 3D printer running in over 2 months. Like production hasn't even started yet.
