Accurate Sound, Collapsible Design
Unveiled at the 2017 NAAM Show, Yamaha’s new MT Series studio monitoring headphones are designed to meet the demands of professional musicians, sound engineers, and anyone who’s serious about their music. The MT5 and MT8 models deliver precise sound reproduction (a must when mixing) and feature a durable, collapsible design that’ll stand up to the rigors of the road. Plus, both use CCAW voice coils and neodymium magnets for sharp definition and a wide frequency range. The slightly smaller MT5 model has a 40-millimeter driver and a range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz, while the MT8 model has a 45-millimeter driver and an extended range of 15 Hz to 28 kHz. Both have a 3-meter straight cable, and the MT8 also comes with an additional 1.2-meter coiled cable.
