Yea damnit. Have one now and bought another. Better get yours or regret having once again, lost your opportunity. At $500.00 it’s a steal!! Get it you know your want to. Imagine, PVD and titanium. The silver is a real pleasure. All of these features work. I use mine to time stuff I need to know the right phase of the moon in addition to the right solstice, equinox and cross quarter dates. It just covers everything and now I have it in Black. 😈😈😍😍

wlhughesHow long have you had it? I’ve seen on their website that you should send it in to them for battery replacement, but I’m wondering if it’s user replaceable and if it uses a standard Li battery that can be purchased on its own.

WatchyoutalkingaboutI've had it since first week in January. All of the features described work flawlessly. There are two batteries: One that powers the analog hand in the Ronda Swiss made 24 hour movement. It is a V364 lithium battery with an estimated run time of 5 years. A second battery is for the digital LCD and chip operations, it is a lithium CR2032 with an estimated run time of 12 month, depending on usage. It looks like the CR2032 is fairly easy to replace because it is the first battery you will see when you remove the back. YES Watch highly recommends that we return the watch to have the V364 Lithium 5 year battery changed because replacement is a bit more involved. Apparently it is connected to the unit with a little plug and requires more delicate care than the CR2032. Plus, I would want to have them replace the gaskets for the buttons and case to maintain water resistance. Gaskets do deteriorate over time.

wlhughesThank you very much. I imagine they would want to replace it themselves, I’m just more concerned as to what would happen if they went out of business. Have you needed to ‘update’ the watch in anyway? Or is it theoretically able to run right out of the box with no software updates?

WatchyoutalkingaboutRuns out of the box. You may have to change the city... About the out of business thing: I guess you could worry about that but they've been in business since 1999 so that's 20 years. Probably more than most micro-brands. In the end, it's a choice you have to make. I hear they are down to just two units left. 😳
