I have the PK3, and absolutely love them. I've always been curious how the top of the line PK1 sounds in comparison, and I guess I'll possibly have a chance now.

gogogadget99Idem. I also have PK3 and out of my studio V they sound fantastic! I think I even prefer them over my Senn MX985 (which cost 3 times more). I just wonder if those PK1 share the same sound signature as PK3

chocoboxI've read that they sound best with an amp, which would make them less ideal for usage out and about. Then again, out on the streets, the PK3 would make for a better beater pair, while the PK1 would stay at home or work.

chocoboxYes they do, PK1 is practically (much) better PK3, I think Studio V should have enough juice to drive PK1.
