Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. Sorry, the auto-standby is not something that can be bypassed at this time. It's designed as a way to minimize power consumption when not in use. Simple enough to bypass by power cycling the on/off on the remote or unit itself, but I can understand that some people are not in love with the feature. We are engineering different options for future products that will have auto-recognition capabilities. This will allow the unit to auto-disable the standby feature when it recognizes new audio sources automatically, but we are not quite there yet on these models.
Thanks again.
