Questions: What is the legit bass extension? I currently run a few Audyssey Media Speakers that are smaller but legitimately get down to 45 hz. Silk tweeters too. The Yumi of course has more features.
Secondly, there's a sub out. But i assume the cross over add a bit of grain? I have a high grade sub for music and wonder how this split would work - can I adjust the frequency cutoff for the sub?
Bluetooth feature is nice.

MassDropFanHey MDF,
The YUMI has a specified Frequency Response that goes down to 60 Hz. It's true the Audyssey Media Speakers can go down even further to 45 Hz because the Audyssey has a software built into the DSP chip that extends the bass response even lower. However, for comparison, when these two sets of speakers are fed with the same signal at the same time (especially at higher volume levels), the YUMI will sound much lower in the bass frequencies and with less distortion because of its larger drivers and bigger cabinet; further, because the YUMI is ported, certain positioning and placement will even contribute to improved bass response. In fact, the YUMI can sound even better on its own speaker stand, away from the colorations of desktop reflections.
Also, you can adjust the frequency cutoff of the sub because the amplifier inside the YUMI outputs the full range of the audible frequency spectrum.
Hope this helps. Thanks!
