At first glance, the YUNZII YZ98 Triple-Mode Mechanical Keyboard may look the part of an archetypal keyboard—and with its build quality and functionality, that would honestly be good enough. Upon closer inspection, however, you’ll see an interesting new take on color and design. The star of the show here is certainly the RGB, as the YZ98 sports a full set of south-facing RGB lights under the switches, side-oriented lighting strips for some unqiue desk-glow ambience, and even a set of custom acrylic “badges” you can swap in on the top right row of key slots for an extra little illuminating scene. There’s a lot more to love here, too, thanks to gasket-mounted action and PORON sandwich foam to really bring the feel and typing sound into the modern day. You can also take advantage of three modes of connectivity—wired, Bluetooth, and 2.4-gigahertz—as well as three adjustable typing angles so you can really dial in the perfect ergonomics for you.
