they came well packed and the acrylic doesn't even have a scratch on them. These are very thick pieces of acrylic with some good stainless rods quality is there on those put together it looks awesome. The acrylic is super clear it is really cool looking. All in all love these stands and they are perfect if you have a heavy board like a model f which weighs 2.8 kg or 6.17 pounds
I have some older keyboards that are signed by professional cs players and some older keyboards that I have held onto. This is a wonderful display with high quality.
Mine came back just fine though some people were mentioning damage to the acrylic. I don't like that I need to cut the padding to the correct size since I can't be trusted with stuff like that :P
It is way overpriced for the quality you get. The brass plate is dirty with scratches and the acrylic part has places that are chipped off. I can't believe that I had to manually cut out the black padding for the price of this stand. It is not worth the money.
ilovemacandcheeseHi ilovemacandcheese, thank you for your feed back and sorry about the experience you had. Do you have any feedback on how to improve the quality of this stands? I am trying to improving the product and will make sure that its quality will be higher with a lower price. I gladly welcome any comment.
Very sturdy & attractive looking keyboard stand that can easily hold a heavy board to display. High quality in terms of the overall finished product, but there were some issues as follows…..
The packaging was decent, but could have been better. The brass plate had some minor blemishes on it, but nothing I can’t deal with as it’s only noticeable when looking closely & in some lights. The sticker feet that go on the bottom arrived already separated from the sticker pad, and had virtually no “stickiness” left to them, which means either gluing them to the acrylic or buying new ones. Not a big deal, but an annoying issue that I’ve never experienced before as these seemed to be a very cheap part. While the assembly process is very simple & straightforward, it was also somewhat difficult only because the metal rods wouldn’t easily fit through the thick acrylic sides, which required several minutes of trying to screw one side in by hand, followed by gently hammering the other side in by hitting the acrylic side with your hand. Seems the holes drilled were just barely too small for the metal rod being used, though I did get it installed after several minutes of wrestling with it. Lastly, the black pads that install on the acrylic sides to actually hold your keyboard were not cut to size as several others mentioned in their reviews. This is a VERY simple fix though by quickly measuring & using a pair of scissors to make a straight cut, and that’s it!
All in all, this is a great stand that looks good & is very solidly built once you get past the initial issues mostly in the building process. Should be priced $10-$20 less than it is in my opinion, but it’s a good buy either way.
EDIT: The feet actually came with a separate double sided tape, which was not apparent when first opening and looking at everything. I figured that out a bit later after building it, and was able to use that to easily install the clear bumper feet. I haven’t seen anything like this before, which was likely the cause for why I missed seeing it.
