Silent Tactile? My Purple Zealios V2 Switches 68g are pretty silent to especially the tactile part. Only thign thats makes noise is the bottom out hit. I bet this is still the same with silent tactiles isn't it? Or whats the difference there? Enlighten me please

If I understand correctly, there's a bit of rubber on the stem that dampens the sound both on bottom out and on the return. I'm not quite sure if the tactile bump is dampened in any way though.

The tactile bump is a tad weaker, but the bottoming out and return noises are considerably quieter in these due to stiff rubber pads molded into the stem. You can read a review of the switches that talks about them here.

Hi, there are rubber dampeners that make the bottom out and upstroke quieter than the conventional tactile switches. These dampeners change the feel slightly and you'll notice it versus reg v2 Zealios, however the trade off is that the switches are quieter.

@kingh271 @timerwin63 @SpencerL thanks for clearing that up. Since I worked for while with box jade in the office the purple zealios are totally fine for me regarding the noise :)
