Just got them and am using them now with my DSA keycaps. I actually do want only the upstroke to be dampened without the bottom-out being affected, so I hope Zeal keeps this version around for people like me. I really love the way my keyboard sounds now with the clips installed - I have a Planck with a wood case and Cherry MX Tactile Grey switches. I don't bottom out, and when the board is placed on a towel, I can only hear pleasant, quiet low-frequency sounds from the keyboard. Note that the wood case, towel, and soft material of the silencing clips kill a lot of the high-frequency resonance of the system. This is great for me and great for people around me who may not want to be disturbed by extraneous noise. Another thing to note is that I measured the clips to weigh around 1/3 of a gram each. So adding 48 clips to my board added 16 grams of weight to my board, bringing it to a total of 386 grams (0.85 lbs). Also, note that I do not plan on removing the clips to perform any sort of switch maintenance on my board - I intend on keeping things stock and not lubing the switches. So, if you plan on opening up your switches often for whatever reason, do keep in mind that in the description on the main page, it is not recommended for the clips to be removed (because it would result in the clips becoming looser). Overall, great product; would recommend. Let me know if you have any questions.

woodandplasticI also use DSA. I just put them over my Zeal 67g switches, and it finally feels as refined, if not more than, my HHKB. I didn't think it would be possible to make it feel this good with these flimsy DSA caps. I also don't have a problem with the bottom-out. I might put my O rings back on just to test it out, but I'm very happy as it is.
Edit: I tried the O rings, and I prefer it with them on. This must be what perfection feels like.

YourMattI know, right? I also have an HHKB, and I love its deep, low-frequency sounds, too. It's also great that the clips reduce key travel a bit so the actuation point is effectively closer to the top of the keystroke now. I feel like I can type faster more easily now (although I do still type faster on scissor switches since they have the smallest amount of travel).

woodandplastic"the actuation point is effectively closer to the top of the keystroke now" - I don't think the actuation point gets any closer to the top just by using these clips. It actually gets closer to the bottom of the keystroke as the bottom out point becomes a higher point after applying them.

MrN0b0dyBottom out point remains the same with DSA keycaps as I have described in my post. Actuation point cannot be changed by the clips. Top of the keystroke is lowered because the soft, rubbery substance in the clip prevents the stem from hitting the plastic housing of the switch, reducing peak acceleration and consequently, sound. My keys actually sit slightly lower on my board, now. Due to the distance between the top of the stroke and the actuation point being decreased, it is certainly accurate for me to say that "the actuation point is effectively closer to the top of the keystroke now". Because it actually is.
