Okay... So, after about 10 months, I had to get mine replaced due to the movement going bonkers... just started running really fast one day. Like a couple of hours fast every 8 hours or so. Now, my new replacement one is less than 4 months old and the base of the crown has popped out (the stem bit the crown screws into) and doesn't seat properly any more. Even though I have been very careful with it, it has now got moisture in it as a result and doesn't function as it should.
It's a fantastic styled watch, but as an every day wear (as an automatic should be...), may be there is a quality issue that really needs to be looked into further.
How is everyone else's performing?

The watch Itself is great but the leather straps seem poor quality. The plastic circle inside of the loops is brittle and both have broken already. About a week ago the the end of the strap that held the buckle on just gave out. I have replaced the strap with a nato one but I'm still disappointed with the quality of the strap. Could have been stitched instead of glued?

For the first 2 weeks of use, mine kept on running ahead by about 5 minutes a week, but it settled down to become pretty accurate. Really happy with the look and the feel as well as how it's performing now!

I've contacted Elshan about the unbranded rotor, and he has offered an exchange (even sending the new one ahead). Honestly didn't think it much a problem, otherwise the quality of the watch is great.

Also have a dirty minute hand! Still debating sending it back to Zelos to get fixed.

I too have a smudge or dirty hand on my Zelos, but I really don't care. I love it! Only got dinged $22 for customs in Canada. I'm a little puzzled on how customs works, 2 watches from MD and custom fees on both, but the other 5+ items, no fees what so ever.

I have been wearing my watch to work daily. I take it off in the evening. I found it several times in the morning 1-2 hours behind. I was hoping that after using it for more than a week it would stop doing this bu alas this issue keeps coming up. Does any one have the same problem? This is too bad as I like the design a lot.

Anyone required to pay ridiculous custom fees? I missed the delivery man, but they left a note to pick it up the next day, but I have to pay $49.95 in fees & taxes!

Wow, that's a lot. I didn't have to pay any custom fees. I guess I was lucky.

QC was indeed nonexistent. Mine came with a "crack" on the side of the case.

Oddest thing, the rotor is not branded like in the description, just the inscriptions from miyota.

pMeiahMine's not like that. Is it because I picked the skeleton one?

idklelYep, the Skeleton does not have the automatic rotor because that would clash with the skeleton aesthetic.
