whereforeYes, it's the original Zendikar set. The new one would be called Battle For Zendikar. $500 is still pretty high but you could open some nice rares, mythics, and even uncommons from the original Zendikar with a bit of value to them.
RMNedimyer500$ is pretty consistent with what the actual boxes are going for. All of them on ebay are 500$ and higher. It's out of print, a loved set, and has the original enemy fetchlands.
RMNedimyerI meant, is it the first print run of the original Zendikar, not is it BFZ. The first print run is the only run that had the randomly inserted reserve list cards. All the print runs had Expeditions, but only the first run had a chance to contain a P9 card.
ShadowhealsYeah, I know what they're going for on eBay, and all of those guys claim they are first print run boxes. I know what's in the boosters, but really, the $500 price tag should mean there is a chance for a Treasure. Only the first print run had those in the boosters.
sirLagsalotOr if you are like me and bought a couple of cases on pre-order when it came out, the label on the booster case itself has the shipment date on it. So if you buy from that case, you know you have a chance at a "Hidden Treasure".
Oh or if you buy a Fat Pack. Fat Packs were only made during the first print run so they also have a chance of pulling a hidden treasure.
ShadowhealsNo they don't. They ALL have A on the end of the number on the box. I think A was for Zendikar. B was for Worldwake. And C was for Rise of the Eldrazi. I have to find examples somewhere.
ShadowhealsAll of the print runs have an "A" at the end of the lot number. This is a false claim made up so people can sell their boxes as first print run boxes on eBay.
