I really like the looks of this one. Simple, aggressively monochromatic, white face, nice handset. As for the size, I've been finding myself wearing my thick 46 mm diver more and more, so one of these days .... And although automatic is more fun, I could appreciate having one quartz in the collection as a grab and go watch.

CloacaI have to admit I’m with you on this one. At 48mm it’s definitely a whopper but the Abyssos I’ve just ordered isn’t exactly petite. Not sure about all the designs but the black and white-faced versions look good. Edit. $270 for a self winding quartz? People, this is the big news. Spring drive 2.0! Get this nonsense out of here. Overpriced at $50. They even mention diving bells. This is like AI written copy sourced from the most garbage malarkey written about watches. Burn it with fire. Nuke it from orbit. If you are looking to spend $270 on a watch, you could literally (not figuratively, but literally) but any other watch and do better. I’m talking invicta, I’m talking shinola. I’m talking converted pocket watches. Anything. I feel much better now.
