Beautiful design, but quality not up to par.
It's a beautifully designed watch. It's kind of dressy and interesting. It suits my small wrist. But the watch failed after a couple of days of wearing it. The only dial that was still able to be moved was the alarm sub-dial. The main and the other 2 sub-dials stopped. So I took it to an old watchmaker as I did not want to pay for shipping and repair cost to the authorised repairer. Yes, I checked. I only received the watch on 12 Jun 2019. The old watchmaker said the battery still has very good charge, but movement locked up. He fixed it and only charge me 20 bucks. So that is 2 out of 3 European watches that failed me in less than 3 months owning them. Never had one failed Japanese watch on me yet (touch wood). I am very wary of purchasing European watches from now on. Also, another lesson is that if you are an Australian customer, your watch purchase from Drop is not covered by warranty. In my experience anyway.

NotDeDMight I ask in what way the movement locked up? I was under the impression that there is no movement at all in a quartz watch as all the timekeeping is based on electronic elements.

OrTrDrAs I am no expert, but I supposed what he meant by saying "movement", was that the gear might have locked up somehow or it may have needed a reset somehow.

OrTrDrWell, there has to be movement. A gear box of some sort to move those hands at least.

Aby_AunJust a local independent watchmaker in Perth. Are you in Perth? If so, he got a little shop on Canning Highway called "Just On Time Watchmaker".
