Just received the vegetable knife. OMG, this knife designer absolutely nailed it. This slices through vegetables like a butter knife through butter. It is probably going to replace most of my knives now. It is just too easy to use. It does encourage and almost guide your hand into a rocking motion. If you insist on being a straight Chopper, this is not the knife for you. Otherwise it is the knife from heaven.

Cause if you meant straight out of the fridge butter, then I'm not impressed at all! And come to think of it, a butter knife cutting even room temp. butter is hardly the kind of performance a good chef's knife should aspire to.
Either the knife isn't as good as you think it is, or you need to work harder on your analogies :)

brenda52411Unless you have very different taste in knives than I have, I think you will be very satisfied. The knife will look a bit strange at first, but then just start using it. You will start appreciating more and more how beautifully designed it is. For one thing that dark strip on the knife helps keep vegetables from sticking to the blade. That feature alone is wonderful.
