who is writing this trash: ... predominant plastic sets aren’t exactly a huge upgrade in build or style. For really premium performance ...
Following this bullshit you should really abandon the predominant plastic sets you're selling in masses here. Marketing people and politicians, masters of trashtalk :(
Why the ire? Plastic keysets are seen as perfectly fine by everyone and gold keys can be perceived as gaudy. No wonder the person who wrote the copy tried to imply that zinc is classier than plastic.
What I'd be interested to know is whether the zinc keys are as hypoallergenic as plastic. If not, I'll have to avoid them for the same reason I don't wear most gold rings: the nickel content causes my skin to rise in welts that outline the shape of the gold that presses against it.
If the zinc keys are hypoallergenic, then I'd love to be able to purchase just the WASD accented silver ones and nothing else. They'd go with my white, gray and silver living room and white Varmilo keyboard.
When I requested that this drop return, I thought there would be an option to purchase just the WASD keys.
Pity those silver WASD keys aren't available any more, but seeing the listing will definitely make me look elsewhere.
