Can anyone confirm that swapping the movement fixed the stutter? And if so, what took was used to remove the "fan", none of my regular tools fit. I'm thinking of long thinned peg wood sticks but don't want to damage the fan blades. What a shame that such nice design uses such a cheap movement! Might as well would'a use quartz with all that stuttering an all >D

Have they fixed the stutter?? I love this watch and bought it but had to return it last year due to awful stuttering of the blades!

These things qualify as watches in about the same way "$9.95 Life Size Inflatable Dolls" qualify as girlfriends.
Maybe in a pinch, but not the kind you'd bring home to meet your mother.

I remember the time when Massdrop just came out, there used to be so many cool new products coming out, people talk about the company that would take orders from a bunch of people and send it to the brand, then we would get cool brand name items for cheaper! 5 years later, I only see the old run down earphones/watches/knives/sunglasses that no one ever buys anymore, the same products that just keep rotating once per year and so on. What happened to the DROP? How can one business with no new products even stay afloat? Where are the cool new brand name products? Where is the big order towards cool new items? I look at the past 500 emails from the DROP and there are the same 50 items that just keep rotating around and back there is absolutely nothing new, huh this is so disappointing sorry...!

VAS007All true--and along with the assortment of products we no longer see, a lot of good people have left--including many great employees MD dumped around the time of the name change and site redesign/fuck-up, not to mention tons of former MEMBERS whose contributions made the site what it was (a community). Now it's pretty much a rolling going out of business sale. No communication, direction or response from the top, and no indication of where things are headed.
All aboard the good ship MD!
