ElvenSpecifically, I do not know but I own one of the copper colour ones. It rides in my pocket with a flashlight and so far, the zippo is not abraded at all.
SD135It's not. The lighter's brass, with a copper-colored coating, same as all of the "antique copper" Zippos.
If you want solid copper, they were made, in a few different years, as special editions. They're stamped "copper" on the bottom, to indicate a solid copper body. You can find them on eBay, but they're spendy (usually north of $75). Look for one that's well-oxidized, and they're a bit cheaper. Lemon and salt shines them right up. Just make sure you don't buy one, thinking it's copper, unless the auction actually shows the base of the lighter... lots of folks will mark the antique copper ones "solid copper", or even just plain-jane brass lighters as, "solid copper". I won't make any judgement on whether that's fraud or ignorance, but it's incorrect, regardless.

DermottYeah, I’ve got one of the old ones. I was just hoping for another. Thanks for the info.
