Product Description
If anybody knows about heat, it’s Zippo, a company that’s been making reliable, windproof lighters since 1932. A great way to stay warm in the office, at the movie theater, at the ballpark, or on a walk downtown, these hand warmers are charged via USB connection ... Read More

Had actually picked up one of the Green 6-Hours warmers from Amazon right before these dropped here. Had got it for my wife, but Dang!, I want one (or two) now as well. Does get quite warm on High. Great for jacket pockets where you can send your hand in for a warmup, then back to work. One for each side would be great. And let me tell you, if your jacket has inside pockets, this works surprisingly well for adding heat to the interior of your jacket and your core. Will definitely be picking up more of these 6-Hour warmers.

$35 shipping to Canada. And I thought we were right next door, and that we were 2 of the world's largest trading partners! Not on this one ...

Some are noting excessive shipping. I see that the drop says "SHIPS TO USA". So it's evidently not targeted at international customers probably for this very reason. Anything containing high-capacity batteries is notoriously a headache to ship overseas. I just had an iPhone case with builtin battery backup that I sold via eBay ceased at the port of entry where the buyer was. Thankfully eBay covered the loss to both of us.

The "SHIPS TO XYZ" always lists your registered country (if available there), you see USA probably because you have USA address, I see my country there (and shipping in checkout is 47 USD :D ). Btw. was the iPhone case actually stopped for having batteries? Many things are often stopped for using Apple trademarks (even when it _is_ an original Apple item, see Louis Rossmann). Not questioning, just asking.

Ha, ha, a power bank with batteries that’s also a hand warmer. What could POSSIBLY go wrong? Guess they didn’t run this one by legal before releasing it.

This drop makes me chuckle. I can imagine the Zippo R&D team. ~"Hey, let's design a powerbank"
>Batteries are of low quality, they heat up too fast
~"That's okay, we'll sell them anyway and call it a hand warmer"

Honestly I have to hand it to them. When I was working in restaurants, we once made really good potato K'nishes. They were really good, but no one ordered them. So the following week, we changed the menu to read, "potato empanadas" we sold out of them in two days.

Sorry, I forgot to say: Spain. And yeah, it's probably a US/non-us shipping cost, which is awful unless you live in... I don't know, South Africa? Maldivas?

I also saw the insane shipping charge, $35. That's more than the price of the product, they lost me on this drop for that reason.

the Zippo hand warmer you fill with fluid is a far better option And they achieve a much warmer feel than any battery will!

They do work well. But I had some time left over in them and as you know you can not turn them off. I made the mistake of having them in a hotel room for a bit. Walked outside and then back inside and was afraid of some air poisoning. I would not have noticed had I stayed indoors. Learned quick to leave them outside until the fuel runs dry. That's why I'm interested in these. But are they truly just a very warm battery that is being sold as a hand warmer?
