For the sake of sanity, I understand that women are different to men in lots of ways but and this is aimed at the comment on Eu sizes and the rest.
How come we are alright for getting us where we are and now you want to take over?
Dont you think a policy of understanding and comunication on a civil level could help in harmonising, so that we get the best results, whoever or from whatever gender this comes from. It appears to me that in every thing that is “put out” that there is a pointed finger instead of an open ear.
GudfalaIt seems like the colors are different for different bags and temperature ratings: 30 for men - neon green, 30 for women - blue, 15 for men - indigo, 15 for women - purple
Hate to say it, but if you go to Sierra Design's website and use the code ENDISNEAR which drops price on their site by 50% you will end up with the 30 degree bag for $108.47 shipped, including CA tax. I'm not at all sure how long the code will work. Maybe they're really worried about the crazy fat guy in N Korea. Joking about the latter, former is real.
Using SD's site you probably will get the bag quickly.
It does look like a nice, light bag.
For question below about differential in cost of women's bag- It has 4 oz more down in it.
DismalDaveYup. Just bought direct with the discount. My experience w vendors in the past is that they don't warranty group buys in the way they do retailer buys.
Thanks for the heads up Dismal!
So is there a possibility of the Eleanor 15F going back in stock? I'm joining if so, if not I'll wait til next time.
Also, on Sierra Design's website and here on Massdrop, the tech specs say 23F comfort/11F lower for temp rating, but the images on Sierra Design's website of the Eleanor 15F bag indicate 27F comfort/15F lower. Not a huge difference, but could you verify which temp rating is correct?
Not seeing a size on the description page. It only specifies the zipper orientation (left or right) but I am curious to know what size of zipper they are using. Size 5 - 7 is pretty typical for sleeping bags but some are outside of that range.
