Light will shine through the window, but be conscious about the placement since some PCBs have south facing LEDs.

Is the white bright cool white? Or warm white? Wondering if it would match GMK WS1 or WS2

I would say it's more on the warm side, for the retro biege that I have on hand. I believe the clean white would fit WS1 more, but I've attached some images of it with Minimal and DMG in different lighting settings.

Would you say clean white better than retro beige for GMK DMG? (also not sure if it's a typo, should it be beige, not biege??)

Thought it's hard to match the purple-hue of DMG alphas, it won't be an exact match.

Most likely clean white, though I have not seen NP PBT in person. Bear in mind that I also don't have the keycap on hand and can only refer to renders. The height will not match either.
