I have to say the quality of the cooked rice and specifically brown rice is fantastic. Other cookers have either made the rice into mush or scorched the rice. While the Zojirushi takes longer overall to cook each type of rice it's not that much more and the end result is fantastic. The rice is nutty, moist and fluffy.
One thing to note is cleaning of the machine is very simple and I like the heft of the rice cooking vessel.
If I would change one thing about the rice cooker. I would want Zojirushi to make their magnetic power cables standard across all of their Japan made devices. My Zojirushi water boiler has a magnetic cord why can't the rice cooker. Not removing a star for this as it performs it's primary funtions very well.
