I used to have a Sanyo rice cooker that served me well from 2000 to 2014. I paid $125 and it was perfect. I replaced it with a fancy Panasonic model in 2014, and I deeply regret throwing the Sanyo away. The Sanyo made great rice whether it was one cup or five. The Panasonic only makes good rice for larger amounts. Even worse, it cannot warm for prolonged periods. I would make rice at night and literally scoop the leftover into my lunch box for work the following morning with the Sanyo and hte rice was fine. Now my Panasonic literally results in a dry, hard layer of rice cripy crap if I leave rice in there on warm for more than a few hours.
Here is my problem. The Panasonic looked modern and cool like this Zojirushi . Is this rice cooker good for a single cup and can it warm effectively for hours? I do not need all the bells and whistles. I just want good rice.

SkipPeThis will cook as little as 1/2 "cup" of raw rice and keep it warm for 12 hours.
