While I don't have this exact model, I have the 10-cup Induction model and the cheaper 3-cup regular model. My 3-cup works exceptionally well and is just right for me, a single household. Instead of 6~10 cups sitting on warm, I have 2~3 fresh and ready to go whenever I want rice.
Everything I have from the Zojirushi brand (coffee maker, hot pot, two rice cookers) has been very pleasing to use, easy to clean, and simply a superior product to the competition. They do cost a bit more than competitors but, to me the extra cost is more than offset by superior cooking results.

SidPostThis is true. The 3 cup models are best for making fresh rice every day. That's for sure the best way to eat rice.
For me, though, the larger models, 5 to 10 cups, are far more practical. While the rice is fresh only the first time, I'll have left over rice stored in the fridge for quick meals lasting a few days afterwards.
That just works better for me as my time is really limited.
Of course, fresh rice is the best way to go if you can make a fresh batch every day.
So both the smaller and larger models have their good uses depending on your needs.
I, myself, would love to see a drop for the 10 cup induction model. At a good discount, of course.
