AstrayI own the Contigo which, according to specs are larger and keep drinks hot and cold longer that the Zojirushi (which I have not used) and cost less, even on Amazon. I've found Contigo lives up to it's specs and are completely spill proof
This thing where Drop inflates the retail price to make it seem as if their perfectly normal price is some amazing deal. That thing is garbage. It is the smell of the bottom of a dumpster.
Every time I see one of these intelligence insulting drops I get a little closer to just quitting entirely.
This is the same tactic Guitar Center uses.
Advertising a Shure SM57 microphone for $99 (msrp $179).
I imagine a lot of well meaning spouses, parents and gullible kids get taken in by such BS.
Grown folks can google.
Even stupid ones.
Yes. What @drwattsesq said. Drop is getting worse every year. I don't buy squat anymore, cause I can get next day for almost same price or less on other sites.
Coincidence that this popped up on the same day I had misplaced my loyal Contigo (which I always felt was simply ok). Compared price on Amazon and the cherry red one was the same price and I qualified for next day shipping on Prime. Just received it. So this is no deal to have to wait a month to get something you can have in hand the next day for less when you account for shipping.
PrinaBI wrote the post 19 weeks ago. I just looked again. I do not know if the model is exactly the same one that you are selling only in sets of 2 for $50 with shipping in August; but Amazon offers 16 oz., stainless steel, vacuum insulated Zojirushi travel mugs for $23.99 each, in seven colors, now with one day delivery. Go to amazon.com and search Zojirushi travel mugs.
Highly recommend to not buy it, if you live in Europe. It took me a month or so to ship and then I received the bizzare status from my tracker : your package has be destroyed.
I just didn’t need this larger 16oz size so didn’t join the last drop. However, I did buy the smaller 12oz one soon after that and can attest to the amazing thermal retention of the product. 12oz is the perfect size for a single cup of coffee and is extremely portable. And I typically quick-sip throughout the day (sustained release 😉) and keep the lid closed. The coffee is still hot for at least 4 hours and warm for the rest of the day. Simply love it.
glennaci agree with everything this man said... and that is why i dont use it...
keeps my coffee steaming for 6hrs, want some cold coffee put in fridge overnight! and still closer to room temperature than anything.. and just not enough size (12oz).. so i only use it when my 18 oz no name becomes not steaming hot in about an hour or less.. unless it's being washed. but i drink the majority on the way to work (30min commute) and the efficacy of the zojirushi makes that very hard to do.. for someone that drowns in 32oz of coffee a day and 16-32oz of energy drinks a day...
glennacI had my BIL buy me one while he was in Japan, made myself a tea with fresh boiled water at 9pm that night, it was not drinkable until the following evening when I remembered it. Excellent product
