I've had my new one for a week or so now, and i think i like the older style better. the new one that is wider definitely doesn't keep my coffee as hot through the morning as i drink it. my guess is that the larger surface area of the coffee exposed to the air as i drink it and then reseal is what causes the loss in temperature.
in the old, skinny one, it would still be hot at noon after drinking consistently since 7, the new one is tepid by that point. boo.
