Develop Your Own Wireless Network
Learn to develop wireless sensor networks with the Zolertia Z1 development platform. Compatible with the Tmote wireless sensor family, the Z1 board features a second-generation MSP430F2617 low-power microcontroller with a 16-bit RISC CPU that’s capable of speeds up to 16 megahertz. It’s compliant with IEEE 802.15.4 wireless standards, allowing it to work with a wide variety of devices. A micro-USB port lets you to connect the board to a computer for more extensive programming. In addition to a temperature sensor and a three-axis stabilizer, it has 8 kilobytes of RAM, a 92-kilobyte flash memory card, and a CC2420 transceiver.
