The quality and detail are great. The purple and blue are a perfect match for my board as well.
When I first received the keycap the tentacles stuck out beyond the keycap ever so slightly and interfered with the surrounding keys. Just a firm squeeze put them in their place and its been great ever since then. Probably my favorite artisan that I own.
Got the Blue/Purple version; the blue leans heavily towards cyan/turquoise, and looks unreasonably good next to DCX Cyanlet, which is what I'm going to end up using this with.
It's got a two piece construction, held together with a Philips screw in the underside of the cap, with an exposed section in the rear for light to shine through. For the price this is really well-made, and if/when I see this up again, if I've got the money I'm definitely grabbing the other color.
Absolutely stunning cap! the details are very impresive and I am really loving the purple colorway! The only thing that was somewhat sad was that it was definitely rattling around, must have gotten loose during shipping, but fortunately the packing was on point and no damages to the finish!
