Anybody seen one in-person by chance? It seems like the base of the keycap sits much higher than the base of a standard keycap. I don’t mind that the top is taller (that seems appropriate) but having more of the switch underneath exposed (if that’s the case) seems like it would look odd.

gimpsterFrom the pictures, it looks like it isn’t flush, which is a bit disappointing.

TunnelsnakesYup, that’s what it looks like to me as well, but wanted to confirm. It’s a cool keycap design.

I have one at hand. I took a few photos that hopefully can be a reference for you guys. When installed, it's higher than Cherry Esc, and lower than SA Esc. (maybe same height as OEM Esc?) High profile case is a must I think. It sits perfectly on my gray Matrix Noah (green SA keycaps), I can't see the switch under it. It sits OK on my red high profile Tada68 (gray/white Cherry keycaps), I can see a small part of the switch. So, you won't see the switch exposed a lot in a high profile case. How much would be exposed depends on individual case.
