In case anybody else is wondering and haven't gotten the email...
"Our vendor has let us know that there has been an inventory issue causing a backorder on the remaining units. We have worked with them in an attempt to remedy this situation, but as of now, we have no firm timeline for when the rest of our order will be available. As we have no insight into when this will be fulfilled, we have made the decision to cancel and refund all orders in this drop."
Somebody reallllllllly dropped the ball on this one. I'm personally not entirely upset and more baffled at ZUS as a fan of their car charger.
GomerPyleI noticed in one of my emails last week:
" We touched base with the vendor once more this week and, unfortunately, the availability of the units has been pushed back to 3/8. We will continue to monitor this situation closely and update the group as soon as everything is ready and able to ship.Expect another update from us on 3/10 or sooner if something comes up. "
So if it helps.
What's the USB spec on these, specifically the USB-A to USB-C cable? I'd like to order these to use as the interconnect between the two halves of my ErgoDox Infinity, but only USB 3 cables serve the purpose.
Disaster! First time I used this cable I started smelling something burning, now the cables type C end is all scorched and my phone wont charge or connect to a computer with any cable. This was with the same 2.4 amp charger I always use to charge my nexus 5x.
chardoYeah, so I was thinking about buying it, but then I remembered Benson Leung over at Google has been testing USB-C cables for compatibility with the spec.
