This was pretty epic drop, I already had the 10" one and do highly recommend it ... I got it on sale before and thought I had a good deal, but this is pretty crazy. FYI to everyone who bought one ... the damascus is a little sticky at first, don't think something is wrong, as you cut food etc it'll smooth out, you can help it along with a leather strop, but don't force it much. It'll get smooth with use and become a true performer.

BarashkaZDo you see any issues with the 10", any chipping or how long the edge last before we need to sharp and also how it reacts to acidic foods like lemon or tomatoes, How is the overall balance while using it, Since your using it for a while Please let us know, Thank you !!!

BarashkaZI also have 10” prior to this drop and food will often ride up the blade during chopping. I always thought it was due to the distinct blade design of Kramer knives. My knife still has this happen every now and then.
Its a great knife, no doubt. But I ordered a second from this drop at over half off. Unreal.

Dark_KnightI’ve had my 10” Damascus for over a year and it does seem tougher (to me) than my other knives. It does not react to acidic foods like Carbon Steel would, but I always rinse my knives when possible. My knife holds its edge better than some of my other knives but I hone it after chopping. I wouldn’t attempt to cut through bone with any knife, which will likely chip most blades.
Please note that I am not a professional chef.
