I have some coffee cups with a similar design. There is a vent on the bottom of the glass so the temperature change doesn't stress the glass to cracking due internal pressure. The vent is water resistance. Silicone maybe? I wash mine in the dishwasher. I haven't developed any condensation in two years but I did have one crack on the lip but I still use it. $35 on Amazon for two 10 oz mugs so I'm going to get in on this deal.
