These are really cool. For those of you who aren't much into glass, borosilicate is aka scientific glass, Pyrex, glass pipes (constructed of) and it is different from soft glass. It has pretty good thermal tolerance and shock resistance when compared.

ooopReally? I received them, and maybe the feeling is deceiving, but they feel so thin (light) and fragile.

Typhoon859I'm on the fence - are they 'fragile'? Do you think they'd break easily? Please let me know - I love the design, but need to steer clear from easily breakable vessels.

GarthogHard to say. I wasn't familiar with this type of glass before getting them, and the more I learned, the more it seems to be the way it's supposed to be. That said, I like it and got comfortable with it, though if dropped, it feels like it'll most certainly shatter.
