I don't understand.. No specs (gauge), overly long for a simple DAC/AMP stack setup (I guess 3 feet is okay if you're doing one of those ordeals with a home theater setup on some stands or racks), unknown configuration, connectors that aren't from well established brand (that I know of).
Why all that, when you get get everything you need to know about from something like this?
They've been tested on video against industry standard Canare and Mogami, on top of providing all the specs you want, from a seller that promptly responds to questions (within 24 hours in my case, and will begin offering 1ft configurations on request), a 10 year warranty, Starquad configuration, and using Amphenol connectors, Prime shipped?
Maybe I'm confused about something here..

Thanks (I think?)--I've been called may names here on MD, but never aristocratic or Victorian, so far as I can recall ;- )

Just goes to show that mDrop isn't doing their due diligence. There's this website named after the largest river in South America, that makes a "Basic" cable that is cheaper, has a superior strain relief and has a better jacket/sleeve.

To bad they didn't do their research and provide a much shorter length. I don't fricken need 3.3 feet of cable. The average stack only needs about a foot of length max or else your left with a shit ton of coiled messy cable hanging out the back. Come on and get without the program. These would sell so much better (or at least a slightly better chance) if they provided a length that people can actually use for an average DAC/amp stack.

Not seeing a lot of justification for these. The connectors look like Canare, but I doubt that they are, as it's not called out. Also the strain relief looks different.
Not sure what this amber wire stuff is. Sounds pretty I guess. I prefer Canare cable.

Some people belive cables are magical and can improve quality and pay for high end cables.
It's not like, on average, we're a scientific species. There is a flat earth movement going again even. So sure, you won't spend $35 on a cable, but there's a sucker born every day, the internet has more disinformation than actual credible info on the subject, I'm not surprised it sells. The whole audio industry is OK with pushing snake oil onto consumers.

Considering that the XLR components are cheap knock offs (not Neutrik), why would I spend $35 for a single meter?
Two Neutrik XLR3 connectors (male and female) + 1metre of Mogomi Neglex cost about $10-15. Less if I'm making more than a few cables.
Conversely if I want cheap Chinese cables, 3' Monoprice Stage Right XLR cable cost $8.59, 6' for 9.99, and 10' for $11.59. And a least I can easily return them if they're bad, plus that shipping ain't going to be SmartPost. I can safely say these cables do not suck, as I've got more than 30 of them and they all perform well.
$35+ for an unknown (to me) brand using (likely) cheap Chinese knock-off components? MassDrop, you must think we're collectively brain-damaged. You should consider producing your own cables using quality components.

DjangomeisterIt is super easy if you have a soldering iron already and totally worth it if you want to save a chunk of money and learn a useful skill. It does take a bit of practice, I know my first few cables were botch jobs. Later ones turned out much better.

Four core... Are these wired in the starquad configuration? If so, how do they compare with the Mogami 2534 and Canare L-4E6S (specs wise)?

Does the cable have an internal braided or foil shield?
