I don't understand.. No specs (gauge), overly long for a simple DAC/AMP stack setup (I guess 3 feet is okay if you're doing one of those ordeals with a home theater setup on some stands or racks), unknown configuration, connectors that aren't from well established brand (that I know of). Why all that, when you get get everything you need to know about from something like this? They've been tested on video against industry standard Canare and Mogami, on top of providing all the specs you want, from a seller that promptly responds to questions (within 24 hours in my case, and will begin offering 1ft configurations on request), a 10 year warranty, Starquad configuration, and using Amphenol connectors, Prime shipped? Maybe I'm confused about something here..

JJayJJActually run a pair of more generic XLR cables (I bought from that big river site) between a Jotunheim and my JBL Series 3 powered monitors, on stands and about three feet away from either side of my computer (probably eight feet total between them). They sound fine as is--doubt replacing the cables I have with red ones would change anything--but I do like the color.

RayFWhat a beautiful setup I’ve got to say. Straight out of a Victorian aristocratic persons office if they became minimalist and did some modern touch ups.

RayFI run ultra cheap XLR cables from Monoprice between all of my gear and have not been able to tell any audible difference between them and the expensive Neutrik+Mogami cables I hand make. For reference, I use the generic with my Monoprice 600800 (mic, plural), Marantz SG-9P (mic), JBL LSR30x, Behringer XR-18 (digital mixer), LCX, 789, Behringer UMC202HD (DAC/ADC), DX7s, SDAC-B, TEAC UD501, and TEAC AX501 (speaker amp). Most of the runs are 1.5', but a couple of them are 15'. The color on the ZY cables are nice... but... maybe I'm strange because I prefer my cables to generally not draw attention to my hooooorible cable routing. :)

JJayJJThanks (I think?)--I've been called may names here on MD, but never aristocratic or Victorian, so far as I can recall ;- )
