Wanting to know if we in South Africa will ever have the opportunity to buy from your site as there are drops here to make one's jaw drop. Please let us know whats cooking. We are very VERY keen this side of the world. If Austria can have it... that why cant we?
Has Drop become nothing but a keyboard/headphone retail company?
Recently, newsletters have been barely anything but overpriced keyboards and awful-looking keycaps--with the exception of a single knife in each email past a week ago. I feel like this site has entirely lost its roots--and will likely pay for that with their business. It's going to eventually wind up not dropshipping items, which would otherwise pass savings on to customers, and will instead be the sticker store of keycaps.
I'll admit, sure, the majority of the userbase probably doesn't mind the fact that you've moved to be a purveyor of only that type of product, but it doesn't make much sense to eliminate the rest of your would-be customers. You could only stand to lose in terms of potential profit with the business model Drop has had in the past; i.e not putting in an order if a product doesn't receive enough interest. To be perfectly honest, I'm shocked that this even has to be said.
Reducing types of products on the site means reduced web traffic; reduced web traffic...
I've been away from Drop for a year or more, and I come back to find my... Feed or whatever it is littered with nothing but headphones and keyboards. Whatever happened to all the watches and knives and other cool gadgets? I'm not even subbed to the audiophile/keyboard communities.
Is there any interest in a woodworking community?
I'd love to have a community where we could get some quality woodworking tools (thinking like lee valley/veritas, lie nielsen, stanley, etc). I'm not sure how many people would be interested in that though.
Can we please have different shipping options? This is the worst possible shipping method out there. My package is 30 miles away (NJ to NJ) and it's "estimated" to get here by the 30th (currently the 26th). I couldn't even imagine what the estimated shipping date would be if I was on the west coast.
Ever since Drop dropped the other communities, I find myself visiting the website less and less. It is just me? All the other products at least added some variety to what is now a monotonous cycle of the same headphones and amp/dacs. (I'm not into keebs so I couldn't care less about that side of Drop).
Why has Drop eliminated everything that im interwsted in?
Why has drop gotten rid of so many communities? I was very interested in the EDC and Oudoor communities and would regularly make purchases... now i keep getting notifications that products that i was interested in arw available but when i log in to drop there is nothing... not even a community section for them... whay is hoing on, why has drop gotten so useless?
Any suggestions for a similar site like the old Massdrop?
Specifically those that cater for Every Day Carry and outdoor gear. The current Drop is turning into an audiophile site, which was not why I signed up for.
C'mon Drop you're making it harder for us to give you money when you eliminate a popular category like Games.
Bring it Back, please.

Take Me Straight to "Drops"... ENOUGH with the "Discover" BS
Perhaps I'm missing something, but it would be really nice if the site gave me the option/preference to go straight to the "Drops" tab when selecting a community. Yes, I realize it is only one additional click for each community page I visit. But I have no use for the annoyingly Pinterest-like hodge podge of the "Discover" tab. I'm not interested in what's polling that will probably never get offered. I don't care what someone else is writing with, listening to, wearing on their wrist or using to hold up their pants.
Yeah, I know, I'm not playing nice and fully engaging in the Massdrop "community." I'm just here to find deals on cool stuff I want.
Simply let me get to the active drops so I can quickly scan what's new and about to expire.
Has anyone else gotten tired of seeing ridiculous items made out of titanium?
Ok, I get it, it's a great metal. It's light like aluminum and strong as steel, but come on, do we really need split rings(I can't remember all the examples, that one just popped in my head) made of titanium? What do you do to your keys that it needs to be as strong as, and lighter than steel? I know it's probably a because I can/want to answer...but still I can't be the only one that looks at some of the titanium items that come through Massdrop and thinks why?...Why did someone think this needs to be made out of titanium?
I mean the price tells me that either A) titanium is still expensive to purify, because it is a very common metal, and/or B) They just make this stuff to have ridiculous profit margins. I mean take the Titanium dice for example, we're talking near 40% savings assuming massdrop's listed MSRP is right. And look, I'm not trying to tell people how to spend their cash, it's your cash, do what you want with it. It just blows my mind some of the silly things that...
Has drop become just for keyboards and audiophile?
Seems I used to find many items to browse but now I see just keyboards and headphones, a few desktop amps. Knives seem sold out. No wallets. Have you decided to specialize? If so, is there any way to let new users/old dogs know this on your homepage?
