Should Massdrop add a musical equipment community?
I think that a big part of this section should not just be music equipment like amps and tuners and such, but also instruments themselves. I've only seen 2 drops for guitars in the audiophile community, and there are a lot more out there.

Samson CT20 Clip-On Tuner
But for live musicians that is not an option. We can't risk the inaccuracy of a phone microphone nor the inconvenience of having to get the strings of the instrument close to the phone. We have to be quick and inconspicuous when we tune, getting out your phone, booting up an app and having to deal with that is not in my definition of inconspicuous nor quick. Having either a pedal or clip on tuner is much quicker. Click a button, tune and done.

There should be a "Music/Instrument" community.

Massdrop x Empire Ears Zeus Universal IEMs
Who is stronger than Zeus? This new Zeus. Empire Ears was on our radar back in 2016, when a couple of community members pinged me and said that Jack was such a great guy and I should really check out their line-up because so many of the models/Gods sounded great. The overall balance in the original Olympus product line was impressive. Some of the community favorites were the Spartan, Apollo, Athena, & Zeus. A lot of care was taken with the...

Why no musictech/instrument community?
[image] From an amateur violinist whose favorite instrument is electric. Seems like there's real estate here. Amps, specialty sound effects rigs, etc. Even instrument accessories like strings, bows, and picks. These things are not usually ch...

GoGo Pedal Tuner
I agree, strobe tuners are far more accurate, I have used them in the past. However, for me as a player either on stage or in a rehearsal, having a strobe tuner is over kill. All the metrics and movements are distracting and unnecessary when jamming or playing live. Strobes are great for setups on instruments or when intonating a stringed instrument, but that is merely my opinion. Peterson makes a great pedal version of their classic strobe...
