Hi everybody, I can't wait to take my X-Mid 2P out on the trail. I've had the tent set up for almost 4 weeks straight and it has handled rain, and snow flurries, temps down to 29 degrees, and sustained winds of up to 25 mph during a few thunderstorms. The tent looks like it just came out of the delivery box.
The only problem is that while on an errand delivering groceries to my parents, the wind picked up again and I came home to an overturned tent. Three of the stake out lines on the fly snapped. I guess when one goes, the tension on the others is increased exponentially. No stitching is even frayed or material warped. Everything is perfect except for the snapped lines.
So I was wondering how I can get the lines repaired or if sent new lines, I am sure I can thread into place. I am just worried a little about other lines snapping during a two week excursion through New Mexico at Philmont this coming July. Love, love, love the tent. Just need new lines.
