Massdrop x Sennheiser HD 58X Jubilee Headphones
My main listening experience is through reasonably high quality HiFi equipment using LPs, CDs and FLAC or WAV Files. I mainly listen to rock, blues and jazz, and have acquired numerous cans over the years including numerous HD models, current favourite which is the HD650, Musical Fidelity 100 and 200, refurbished electrostatic Micro Seiki MX 1 which I have owned since the mid 1970s and are still awesome for clarity, space and speed, but...

Product Question
First time buyer here, and I got the $20 off first order link. Followed it and put these phones in my cart but I'm being charged full price at checkout. How does the credit work? Says valid until April 25.

Massdrop x Sennheiser HD 58X Jubilee Headphones
Great review. I don’t have any HiFiman phones but do have numerous sets including HD650, Musical Fidelity 100 and 200, refurbished electrostatic Micro Seiki MX 1 which I have owned since the mid 1970s. i find that no set covers every music genr, volume level or listening environment, hence the numerous sets of cans. I have also tried various AKG versions of the 7 series but they never quite cut the mustard for me. Source and the links in the...

Aurender Flow DAC/Amp
Wowsers; how much of an upgrade can this make to ‘high end kit’? HUUUUGEE (“Massive” for those using translators) !! A system is only as good as its weakest link.. and if we used the plumbing analogy of pipes/bandwidth; the constricting part limits the total output. I have a lot of nice audio kit. Of practical use to anyone reading this post: I have decades of training with regards to audio equipment, mostly from passion and hobby interests...

Drop + HIFIMAN HE4XX Planar Magnetic Headphones
I do have a headphone amp, the Musical Fidelity V-can II. So far I'm impressed what it does to my Sonys. Small update: I Just joined the HE4XX drop aswell. I can probably sell the one I like the least without any losses.

Massdrop 101: What Is A DAC?
Good read! I have been listening to FLAC files via an external USB DAC from 2010. Currently I am using a cheap Musical Fidelity V90 asynchronous USB DAC. As a player I use Audacious on a Linux Mint 18.3 laptop. I have to note there is one major disadvantage in using streaming audio via USB. Streaming audio via USB does NOT use any error correction. So for every incorrect package received by the DAC you will hear a glitch/spike like when...

Side-Sleepers! Drop the Klymet Static V Junior?
I'm a Side-Sleeping, Long-Ass-Section Hiking, Gram-Weenie. I'd kill for a wide, short, high-loft, puncture-resistant, ultra-light sleeping pad! Wouldn't you? Currently I use Exped's UL Synmat 7M. I love this pad. Its 2.8" loft keeps my bo...
