Creative Sound Blaster E5 USB DAC/Amp Combo
Sure! For most of my desktop analysis of the amp section I used the Sennheiser HD800 and Sony MDR-7506 headphones. I tested it in portable environments with the Mee a151p, Oppo PM-3, and (forgive me for I have sinned) Apple earpods. I tested the line out directly into JBL lsr305s (paired with a SVS SB-1000), Eve sc207s, and Yamaha NS10s. I also tested the line out into a Schiit Asgard, Schiit Valhalla, and an Allen & Heath QU-16 Mixer. With...

Why are there almost never microphone drops?
..And when microphone drops do happen, they're often USB microphones or such. As an audiophile creator, getting a good microphone for a good deal is EXTREMELY hard. Microphones of good quality go for well over 100$, plus the interface neede...

Out of Your Head Virtual Speaker Software
Hi Andy, There are currently 27 different speaker/room presets available in Out Of Your Head. This drop includes one of the 27 presets in the purchase price. Creative Sound Blaster X7 DAC/Amp Combo
I've had mine for a few days now and I have to say that I really love this thing. I am by no means a golden ear audiophile, but it sounds really good, has a ton of connection options on the back, and the cherry on top is the software that lets you have total control over how anything that is hooked up to it sounds. Want to enable virtual surround? it can do that, microphone settings? yup, gaming sniper mode? check. Full EQ? you betcha. Anyway...

Announcing Our First Wireless Bluetooth Headphones
That’s how Bluetooth works... Music takes up bandwidth, and communications (mic input) takes up more bandwidth (as well as 2-way communications instead of 1-way). Phone calls with microphone audio actually switch to a different Bluetooth codec in order to carry the data. If microphone input just added 1/3 as much demand on the bandwidth (mic in, left channel out, right channel out), that would be one thing, but I think it actually takes up...

Creative Sound Blaster E5 USB DAC/Amp Combo
I bought this a couple weeks ago from Amazon. They are able to drive the AKGK7XX even on the low gain setting. If it gets to the $150 mark I'd say it's a good buy. Nothing else at that price point offers the same feature set, or close. SQ wise there may be better options at the MSRP. That said, SQ isn't bad, it just may not be the best. I'd guess most people would be surprised by how capable the E5 actually is in terms of SQ. I didn't expect...

What would be the best condenser microphone for under £60?
Looking for a condenser microphone which I can connect to my computer via usb or some other connection. A pop filter would be preferable but not necessary as I could buy one later on
