Depends on what you are looking to accomplish... decoupling of the speaker from what it sits on can have a positive impact in bass clarity/lower midrange. If they are already on spikes on a fairly acoustically dead surface the impact will be minimal. The goal is minimize interaction between the speaker cabinet and other resonant surfaces. If you have bookshelf speakers sitting on a less than solid desk, then yes this should benefit you.

Looks legit to me. I have Klipsch RB-61 II's that used to sit on 2" slabs of solid cherry shelves, compromised kitchen locations, put on spike ebony feet & pads, nice difference. If the spiky feet come put off the pads,, bad news for the cherry, so now they have a lexan sheet with divots. These pads looks like a technically sound solution; you want isolation in some form.
