What Camera is Best for Shooting Animals?

I want to invest into a better camera for Wildlife Photography and Animal Portraits (Specifically dog portraits) but I don't know what camera I should use does anyone have suggestions for photographing animals? (I don't really have a budget).

Im not sure there is partiality when choosing a camera- towards people, places or things. Are you looking at shooting animals for fun, stock photography, or paid portraits? Depending on your purpose, you will make your choice based on lens and DPI. If you are worried about noise, you want a camera with a larger CMOS (sensor). If you want better focal control in your depth of field you want a fixed lens that will focus on your foreground while making your background buttery smooth. I took this shot with my T2i and my 85mm lens
