Which headphone amplifier is suitable for Sundara?
Hi, everyone I'm a beginner, just started head-fi. DAC is iFi zen dac V2/Headphones have HIFIMAN's SUNDARA. The source device is a normal home computer (window 11). I use Tidal&Spotify and enjoy classical music, crossover music, and contemporary jazz performances and K-Pop. I'm currently using it directly to the zen dac V2, but I'm going to buy a headphone amplifier for better sound quality. I look forward to your advice on which of the two products, zen can signature HFM and DROP THX aaa 789, will suit my current situation. (The budget does not exceed U$300) Thanks!
Hoping for some opinions and guidance from the headphone crowd on what is possible with improving my setup. For the last couple of years I have spent a few hours on the majority of nights listening to music in bed before sleeping. The setup was an iPad Air (which still has the jack) and a pair of V-Moda Crossfade M100s. I also have a pair of AKG K240s but have not been able to drive them effectively with the iPad or another device, a Hiby R3. The R3 is mostly used in the Jeep but I have dragged it upstairs to try. The content is my main library which is all FLAC but mostly I listen to Spotify Premium. I like higher volume, mostly rock content. But I do have a decent collection of jazz and some other things. For my main room I run an Anthem AVM 60 pushing into a Krell KSA 150 and a pair of Klipsch hybrid designs. I don't really listen to music much down there, but I spend hours with the headphones. When I do listen on the main system I stream into the Anthem with a...
I just got my PC38x and tested it out on my laptop. The headset sounds great but I can't seem to get the mic to work. In the settings, you can see the mic but no sounds can be heard. I've tried the mic in multiple different orientations. I believe it might be the cable or the headset but I'm not sure. I have asked multiple discord servers about the problem and tried many solutions but it does work.
Where does everyone go to discover new music? Here is what I use Amazon Music which is where I buy most of my music. They don't seem to show me anything new that interests me . Tidal which I'm on paid trial for wants to push all pop music my way and I don't want that no matter how much I hit the like button for other genres such as Trance Deezer seems to do a good job of sending me new music that I actually want to listen to. Soundcloud gives me a lot of the music I am looking for. I really want to find a new place to purchase and discover great new Ska, Trance, and other new and fun music that is not Top 40 and over played.
