First hour, day 2: after A/B with the NightOwl a few songs, I realized they are just too different to draw any meaningful comparisons. So what I did is to move from the Schiit Magni 3 to the Feliks Echo (tube amp). Wow, huge difference. It makes these cans much funner and sound beefier.

rdodevI had the same conclusion myself. Out of my Fiio A5 or iFi nano BL, they seemed more mid centric and bass light. I've been listening all morning out of my CTH and they have much tighter, impactful bass. I'm really enjoying them so far with their level of detail and clarity. I don't think they have a huge sound stage but they come off as very 3D/holographic. It's a nice effect that does make them sound larger sonically.

The audio on my pc38x is not working
One day I just plugged in my Pc38x and they stopped working. I tested the mic and it works, I've tried changing the cord multiple times and have adjusted the volume disk, none of this has changed my situation. I've tested the headphones on my PC, switch, and PS5 and the audio doesn't work there either.

Hifiman x Dekoni Cobalt or Massdrop x Meze 99 Noir
Im looking to buy a set of closed back headphones under $200. So far the two main contenders are the Cobalt and Noir. Has anyone compared these two? which seems to be better? Both are around the same price. Ive heard the cobalt is lacking in bass, while thats not ideal im not too worried as I dont often listen to bassy music.
